Perform an Oil Change
If it’s been a while since your last oil change, we highly recommend that you change your vehicle’s engine oil. The higher ambient temperatures of summer can cause your engine to run hotter, and require more protection. A fresh oil change is a great way to protect your engine against costly engine damage.

Check Your Coolant Levels
A healthy engine cooling system will cool your engine, even as it works harder to stay cool in the summer heat. However, running your engine with old coolant, or low fluid levels could cause your engine to overheat. If it’s been more than three years or 36,000 miles since your last flush, we recommend you schedule service for a coolant flush.

Test Your Battery
High temperatures can cause your car battery to age faster and operate in a weakened state. A great summer car care tip that we have in terms of your battery is to bring your vehicle in for a battery test to make sure it’s strong enough to outlast summer temps. If it’s been more than three years since your last battery replacement, we recommend a replacement.

Check Your Brakes
